Ruddy’s 1930s General Store & Museum

Return to an era when people took their time, laughed over soda pop on the front porch and saved sewing ornaments to pass down to generations.

At Ruddy’s 1930s General Store & Museum, you’ll experience a fascinating collection of goods (mostly from the Depression period) that Jim Ruddy cherished and preserved over his lifetime.

Over 6,000 men’s, women’s and domestic goods fill the small store, creating a historic experience unlike any other in the heart of downtown Palm Springs.
